Hello all My name is Darren from Newcastle I have race litre sprints and hotrods in the past and have got the itch for racing again/still, I found out about quarter midgets last month when #11 was on ebay and i like what I see and have researched a little ,Just wondering how strong the division is.it looked like you had a problem getting enough cars for the last meeting is this common or just bad timing?. I'm very interested in getting involved but can't really do anything at the moment as I have to have surgery later this year but as soon as i recover from that I will be very keen to get going, just don't want to buy a car then have the division fold. What class of nasa lic is required ? ...Darren

Hi Darren. We had trouble getting numbers for the last meeting due to unfortunate circumstances with several competitors unavailable. While not as strong as it once was the class is certainly at no risk of folding and we have a reasonable field at most meetings, with several new cars expected to be at our next meeting. The license requirements are a NASR "B" license or NDRA license is also acceptable. We would certainly welcome you to the class should you decide to join us. I would also invite you to our next meeting at Cullenbullen raceway to see what its all about on the 27th March If you want a lift let me know and you can come with me im based near Tuggerah exit on freeway on central coast Peter

Cullen Bullen charges $12 per adult to get in gate to sit in spectator area and then you pay $10 extra to come into Pits you can drive car through and park on hill if you want. If your wife wants to stay on hill you just tell them she will stay there and she wont have to pay the $10 or pay the $10 and walk around in pits. Closed in shoes are required.
