Hi, I currently race karts and I have been interested in Quarter Midgets for a while now. Can anyone give me an idea of the costs involed with running a season of racing and the cost of a decent second hand car? I'm thinking of just racing at Cullen Bullen to start with at first. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Jason ,
The best person in NSW to talk to would be peter priest .
The cost factor is about the same as what running a go kart is maybe just a tad more , and there are always plenty of 2nd hand cars going around for around the 3 or 4k mark which will get you up and running .
All the best Steve

Hi Jason. The cars are comparitively cheap to run..If you currently run karts i dont think there would be much difference .Good cars have been sold around $3500 this seasonsome cheaper. Not sure what is available for sale at the moment ..Wed love to see you at Cullen on the 31st and help with any further questions you might have.
